How do you change the diaphragm of this stethoscope?

The new StethoMedic stethoscope enables you to change the diaphragm easily.
Rotate the metal ring counterclockwise, remove the old diaphragm by gently pressing the retaining diaphragm down with your thumbs.
Place the extra diaphragm that came with your stethoscope into the ring. Slowly fit and press the diaphragm into the ring.
Flip the new diaphragm and retaining ring, slightly press the diaphragm to fix its position and rotate the ring clockwise.
it is suggested to keep the diaphragm clean to prevent cross-infections. We provide extra diaphragm with a different style to meet your needs.

Is the diaphragm ideal for use on both adults and pediatrics?

Yes, it has the tunable diaphragm, which can be used for low or high frequency sounds. Hold the chestpiece with light pressure to hear low frequency sounds; press a little more to hear higher frequency sounds.

What Is It Made Out Of?

The chestpiece and the eartubes are made of stainless steel. The tube and the eartips are made of polyvinyl chloride(PVC), which is plastic resin. All parts are latex free.

Does it have a certificate proving it is latex free?

Don't worry. The tube and accessories of FriCARE stethoscope are made of polyvinyl chloride(PVC), which is PLASTIC RESIN, NOT natural rubber or natural latex. The Material Safety Data Sheet has been uploaded for reference. The report can prove that it is definitely latex free.

Does it come with spare ear pieces?

Yes. It comes with extra ear pieces, diaphragm and a name tag. If you need replacement, register for life-time warranty and contact the seller for replacement.

What is the length of the stethoscope?

The entire length including bell and up to the edge of the ear pieces is 28".
